Update ESP8266 credentials by recieving data from an app that is made by mit app inventor

I created a local server to recieve data from app that is made by mit app inventor... I gave the password and apname initial values and every thing wosks fine...but Can I change the password and ap name esp8266 with out saving them in EEPROM.. i mean updating the values depending on the data from the app
