Disclaimer : I am absolutely not an expert in using SCCM or such solutions, I’m self taught and mostly learn from internet and Google Search, so pardon me in advance if I say some stuff wrongly.

We have a task sequence that do multiple thing, and it mostly work beside some small error that can be bypassed, including :
- VNC server not fully configured (need to work on that later)
- Office not activating
- Net Framework 4.8 throwing an error
However it doesn’t prevent the master from working, and that is the story for another time. (But if someone is willing to help me on that, please hit me up) We’re mostly deploying it to Latitude 5420 and 5430.
Now the issue :
On Latitude 5430, it simply won’t join the domain. The computer does get a correct IP address, so it’s not driver related issue (I believe). Also we use the latest driver packages provided by Dell.
I have tried to just set « continue on error » on, and while it’s working that way, Office 2021 and other apps won’t install !
We are booting from PXE, I did try creating a bootable media but ran into the same issue.
All BIOS parameter seems fine to me, we followed this guide from Dell
Does any of you please have an idea on what we can try to fix that ? Whilst 5410 are not most of the computer we have, we do have some and they’re no better than paperweights if we cannot remaster them..
