My font,Nabla, from google fonts is not being applied with material ui in react

I am trying this new font called Nabla from https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Nabla. My problem is that the font is not applying on the page. I don't know whether the problem is the mui thing or the font glitching. I tried the font on a normal HTML doc but it won't work in react and mui. Here is my react ts code:

import { Typography, Box } from "@material-ui/core";
import { createTheme, ThemeProvider } from "@mui/material";

const font = createTheme({
  typography: {
    fontFamily: [
      'Nabla',
      'cursive',
    ].join(','),
  },
});

export default function App() {
  return (
    <>
      <ThemeProvider theme={font}>
      <Box component="div">
        <Typography variant="h1">
          Cool Todo
        </Typography>
      </Box>
      </ThemeProvider>
    </>
  );
}

And here is my HTML code:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <meta
      name="viewport"
      content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, shrink-to-fit=no"
    />
    <meta name="theme-color" content="#000000" />

      The build step will place the bundled scripts into the <body> tag.

Please ask me any questions about my question and I will try to respond as fast as possible.
