Prometheus metrics end point is running but the target status is down local host works fine

Prometheus metrics end point is running but the target status is down

referring to the above answer, i have followed the steps exactly and still facing the same issue, the target says its up but the url thats not localhost is not displaying data, local host still presents all the data.
