So a few days ago, I started running into an issue with my monitor. There would be these weird 'lines' on the screen, which would cover the screen. Screenshots come out fine, and after restarting over and over, it gets fixed eventually. If I restart again, or turn it off (by sleep mode or hibernate), we're back to square one.
I noticed that every time I would do ctrl+alt+del, the sleep option would go missing when the computer is in this state.
Finally, I tried updating the Nvidia graphics card driver. I found the issue, that even after updating the driver, it still gives me an option to update. Any ideas?
Before you ask, yes I have tried different cables and monitors. This is a graphics card issue to my knowledge.
I have an Nvidia GTX 1660. I run an i9 7th gen. Its an ASUS ROG GL10CS
