Is there a function in cmd/command line to filter data by date (month)?

im trying to write a batch tool to archive data by month. I have automated output (mainly txt files) and want to archive these sorted my month.

I tried to use the 7zip switches but couldnt find a "filter" option..

Anyone got a solution for this?
