So, I recently installed GNOME classic, and now want to remove it. That said, I'm facing a kinda big problem: When inputting sudo apt-get remove vanilla-gnome-desktop --purge in the terminal, it says that vanilla-gnome-desktop is not installed. This doesn't seem to be the case, however, since I can switch to it just fine.
My issue isn't the sheer existence of the DE, but the dependencies that come with it. They cannot be upgraded, and I don't know how (and even if I should) I want to remove them.
Any suggestions to remove both the DE, and the dependencies?
