for reference there are 4 1tb drives (3 from old raid 5) that I separated and tried to install ubuntu and put in raid 0 on but when i get to the part where you choose a drive none show up but they are detected in BIOS and POST. do i need to re-raid them to install? nuke them?
if this is important the raid controller was probably built in and directed by BIOS setting.
