how to create a function to jump in ursina

I would like to create a function to jump in ursina, so when I need, I can make the player jump. I tried to change the player.z but it doesn't move. So how can I solve this? And if I can, I would like to disable the space key to jump, so when the player press it, he doesn't jump.
