Others have written to simply right-click the plugin to install, and then "Uninstall" will show up. But for me, right-clicking does nothing.

Try the Installed tab instead of the Marketplace.
Here's the official tutorial: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/managing-plugins.html#remove-plugin
In the Settings/Preferences dialog ⌘,, select Plugins.
Open the Installed tab and find the plugin that you want to remove.
Click The down arrow next to the Disable/Enable button and select Uninstall from the dropdown menu.
As Arnaud said. The very nasty plugin TabNine should be removed, in it's current form. But it must first be disabled. So do as Arnaud says, go to Settings->Plugins->Installed, select Tabnine, then the wheel, then diable. After that is done, accept.
Then open same thing again, go to installed, select TabNine, then uninstall. That's it.
TabNine worked as a piece of slackware/malware/spyware, and would not be killed by Windows Task Manager. Going to the install folder and deleting it would not help either. And even if something there got deleted, it managed to re-appear again, seconds later. I'm not sure, but I think You must also remove it from the online user You got at TabNine.
If TabNine keeps this up, they are going down.
